Job summary

MSD in South San Francisco, CA seeks a Translational PK/PD Associate Director to lead modeling for biologics and protein therapeutics. You will independently design analyses guiding drug discovery strategy and dose prediction in cross-functional teams.

Work with in vitro and in vivo data to build PKPD/PBPK/QSP platforms, support forward translation, and collaborate to shape translational strategy across programs. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on translational PK/PD modeling for biologics, proteins or peptides.
• Strong design, analysis and interpretation of complex datasets.
• Experience in interdisciplinary translational modeling projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert PK/PD modeler in cross-functional teams to guide discovery and dosing decisions.
• Integrate in vitro/in vivo data into PKPD, PBPK or QSP platforms for translation.
• Collaborate to design studies and modeling plans that optimize candidates.
• Guide automated workflows for modeling platforms informing human predictions.
• Provide scientific guidance to junior colleagues.
