Job summary

Regeneron is seeking an Associate Director of Translational/Preclinical Modeling to develop and implement quantitative PK/PD models that aid target biology and modality selection, guiding early clinical dose selection and study design.

The role requires PhD or MS in relevant fields with 6+ years in modeling and translation across discovery to IND, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and publication of work in journals.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MS in pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, applied mathematics or related disciplines with a track record of applying quantitative and mechanism-based PK/PD modeling and simulation.
• Greater than 6 years of pharmaceutical industry or related experience in developing mechanism-based PK/PD models to guide R&D teams from early discovery to IND-stage clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Develop quantitative and mechanistic PK/PD models informing preclinical-to-early clinical translation and human dose predictions.
• Advance and set strategic direction for modeling and simulation sciences in the organization.
• Support preclinical PK/PD projects to design and interpret in vitro and in vivo studies and translate to humans.
• Integrate modeling analyses into information usable by multidisciplinary project teams and present at meetings/pubs.
