Job summary

Amgen seeks a Principal Scientist in Modeling & Simulation to advance clinical pharmacology and translational sciences. You will build PK/PD models, perform exposure–response analyses, and guide dose selection across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or professional degree with extensive PK/PD modeling experience.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling, exposure–response analyses, and Bayesian methods.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build pharmacostatistical models for PK/PD and exposure–response analyses.
• Conduct binary/categorical data analyses and time-to-event models.
• Perform meta-analysis using proprietary or literature data.
• Collaborate across teams to advise dose selection and study design.
• Contribute to clinical pharmacology strategy and project plans.
• Generate modeling reports for regulatory submissions.
