Job summary
Dewberry is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Transit & Rail Stations) for its New York Building and Facility Structures Group to lead large, complex projects in the New York Metro area. You will guide engineers, architects, and consultants to deliver high-quality design on time and on budget.
The role requires about 20 years of experience in structural design and project management, ownership of a NY PE license, and hands-on leadership of Transit & Rail Station programs, including Design-Build
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Active NY PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Approximately 20 years in structural design and project management.
- Experience with Transit & Rail Station projects.
- Experience with Design-Build delivery.
- Knowledge of NYSBC, NYCBC, IBC, ASCE7, AISC, ACI.
- Experience with ETABS, SAFE, Tekla software.
- Familiar with MTA C&D (NYCT, LIRR, MNR) projects.
- Clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple engineering teams and consultants on transit projects.
- Oversee design for large multi-disciplinary facilities.
- Provide QA on design deliverables and calculations.
- Develop technical specifications and design schedules.
- Coordinate with client/owner and contractors on scope.
- Lead meetings with stakeholders and partners.
- Perform site visits and report findings with recommendations.
- Prepare engineering proposals including scope and budget.
- Set and improve technical standards for structural work.
- Lead structural design production as Engineer of Record.
