Job summary

SYSTRA USA is seeking a Design Build Project Manager in the Systems & Power Sector for our New York project office. You will lead multi-discipline teams to deliver design-build rail infrastructure projects on time and within budget.

A four-year civil engineering degree and 15+ years in rail design are required; PE licensing in multiple states is a plus. You will coordinate schedules, manage contracts, cost reporting, quality control and client interfaces.

• Experience with different project delivery methods.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules and client interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for multi-discipline design-build teams (rail).
• Manage schedule delivery for final design documents.
• Oversee contract management including change orders.
• Conduct monthly project reviews with cost reporting and budget control.
• Track financial aspects and coordinate team effort to meet schedules.
• Interface with clients; attend weekly meetings and field visits as needed.
• Lead risk management by defining and negotiating out-of-scope requests.
• Ensure quality control and QA for all design/ deliverables packages.
• Oversee construction activities such as RFIs and reviews.
• Demonstrate leadership in dynamic design-build environments.
