Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager- Transit Rail to be based in the New York, NY area, working in the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group. You will manage design projects, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and ensure design quality, schedules, and budgets.

The role requires a BA/BS with 10+ years of experience and a Professional Engineer license, with preferred extensive NY metro rail project experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 10 years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Professional Engineer License

Responsibilities

• Perform project management responsibilities on design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro area.
• Administer the design phase of the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement.
• Manage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets.
• Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects.
• Ability to coordinate closely with clients, contractors and project partners.
• Respond to client issued RFQ and RFPs, provide guidance to marketing for Transit Rail pursuits.
• Provide valuable leadership to mid-career staff and mentoring to develop their technical skills.
