HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Transit Project Manager for its New York office to lead and deliver high-profile commuter and rail transit projects. The role focuses on managing client relations, design teams, and multidisciplinary engineering tasks from concept through construction, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• PE license required by licensing board.
• MS Office and MS Project experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads/OpenRail.
• Estimating and scheduling software experience (Primavera P3 or SureTrak).
• Project management software experience (Prolog).
• Leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all aspects of client and design-team management of commuter and rail transit projects.
• Plan, direct, supervise, and monitor all aspects of multidisciplinary projects with a high degree of technical complexity and large staff.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Serve as Project Manager on small, medium, and large transportation projects.
• Act as a liaison between the client and HDR to strengthen relationships and participate in meetings.
• Participate in proposal development and marketing activities as needed.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and perform detailed QC reviews of transit projects.
• Coordinate staffing and workload to complete deliverables on schedule.
• Mentor less-experienced Project Managers and support training initiatives.
