HDR is seeking a highly motivated Senior Transit Project Manager to support HDR's Transit Market Sector.

This position will provide project management and technical services to Transit agency clients, focusing on rail/transit projects. The individual will pursue, manage, and deliver projects, working with various facets of rail and public agency staff and capital projects.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of client and design-team management of commuter and rail transit projects.
2. Lead multidisciplinary projects with high technical complexity, managing design, plans, specifications, and other deliverables.
3. Serve as Project Manager on various transportation projects, ensuring quality and timeliness.
4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in meetings and contractual discussions.
5. Contribute to proposal development and marketing efforts.
6. Implement QA/QC procedures and perform detailed reviews.
7. Coordinate staffing and workload with sector leaders to meet project deadlines.
8. Mentor less-experienced project managers and support staff training.
9. Perform additional duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Transit/rail engineering and project management.
• Construction inspection or management experience.
• PE license, PMP certification, and knowledge of FTA standards.
• Experience managing large transit programs and multiple projects.
• Proficiency with relevant software tools.
• Ability to travel as required and pass background checks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in project management.
• PE or P.Eng license.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
• Leadership and strategic planning skills.
