Job description

Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Project Manager on our Owner’s Engineer team for utility-scale solar and wind power generation projects. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the project in a cost-effective manner, in accordance with requirements and standards as set forth in the project contract(s) and UPDM (Ulteig Project Delivery Method). The successful candidate must have experience managing complex projects, contracts, and clients. This position is open to remote locations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide strategic project management leadership for large and complex renewable projects, with little to no supervision.
• Manage the overall project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Lead a collaborative project team to ensure key disciplines meet the project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Lead project meetings, negotiations, and conflict resolution.
• Handle contract negotiations, management, and proposal development.
• Develop, update, and manage the project plan.
• Coordinate communication and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage requests for information and action items proactively.
• Work with the Project Controls team to track schedules and costs.
• Lead projects through internal and external processes.
• Ensure resource availability for the project.
• Contribute to project proposals and provide feedback to the development team.
• Analyze problems, identify solutions, and support project objectives.
• Establish effective working relationships and demonstrate leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Maintain customer focus and uphold professional standards.
• Seek continuous improvement and demonstrate integrity and confidence.

What We Expect from You

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience with utility or renewable energy projects, preferably utility-scale.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and/or P6 preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to adapt to client needs, work independently, and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Adherence to safety and quality policies.
• Legal work authorization in the US.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range: $130,400 - $176,500
* Compensation factors include skills, education, experience, location, and market comparison.
