Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Senior Transit Planner or Project Manager to lead transit and multimodal planning across the mountain west. You will manage studies, collaborate with transit agencies, state DOTs, MPOs, and cities, and help expand Horrocks’ reach into new regions.

The role emphasizes data analysis, technical deliverables, and engagement with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong planning background, GIS proficiency, and excellent writing/presentation skills to communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning (required); master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
• Experience with public transit and other public agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead transit and transportation planning efforts across projects.
• Support client maintenance and business development activities.
• Manage studies including transit alignment, NEPA planning, and active transportation plans.
