Job summary

Horrocks seeks a Senior Transit Planner or Project Manager to lead transit and multimodal transportation planning efforts for clients across Utah and the Intermountain West. The role involves managing studies, coordinating with agencies, and driving business development opportunities.

You will apply GIS, data analysis, and strong writing to deliver technical reports, while collaborating with public engagement teams and stakeholders to advance programs and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning or closely related field is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience with public transit agencies and public sector clients.
• Strong technical writing and ability to produce deliverables.
• Ability to lead planning studies and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead transit and transportation planning studies including alignment and mode analyses.
• Manage projects and support client maintenance and business development.
• Coordinate with public agencies, communities, and stakeholders.
• Research best planning practices and apply data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare technical deliverables and visuals for planning documents.
