Transdev seeks an experienced General Manager to lead operations across contracts in the Metro Atlanta area, delivering safe, reliable service and strong financial performance. You will build teams, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Based in Atlanta, GA, you will manage risk, client satisfaction, and asset deployment while guiding staffing, budgets, and compliance with DOT and transit regulations; a four-year degree and leadership experience are

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year college degree in a relevant field is desirable; combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation or related field or equivalent business experience preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a fixed route or paratransit bus operation of similar size and scope.
• Thorough knowledge of transit system regulations and operations.

Responsabilités

• Continuously builds relationships with employees, the client, union partners, and the local community.
• Sets commercial and operational strategic direction for the business unit team per location/client contract.
• Leads the management team and employee workforce to achieve safety goals, service performance, and financial objectives.
• Identifies, suggests, and develops business growth opportunities.
• Optimizes return on assets; manages vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and performance.
