Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Lead role within the Transformation Office in Chicago to drive enterprise-scale initiatives across Wealth Management and technology. The Specialist will translate strategy into concrete requirements, coordinate with executives, and deliver implementable plans in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong business analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and proven experience with large change programs in financial services.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and problem-solving capabilities; translate strategy into executable outcomes.
• Ability to operate across business, technology, data and operations without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clearly document complex concepts.
• Highly adaptable to ambiguity in fast-paced transformation environments.
• Financial services experience is required.
• Experience with large cross-functional initiatives or enterprise-scale change programs.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic objectives into detailed requirements, analyses, and execution materials.
• Collaborate with Transformation Executives to advance design, planning, and implementation.
• Analyze current and future state processes, operating models, and workflows.
• Document business requirements, process flows and implementation plans with high quality.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, Technology, Data, Operations, and Risk to support solution delivery.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies; escalate issues with recommendations.
• Prepare materials for governance forums; support senior decision making.
• Apply analytical judgment to solve problems and propose practical solutions.
