Job summary

Northern Trust in Chicago seeks a Senior Project Manager within the Wealth Management business unit to oversee multiple projects of varying size and complexity, coordinating resources, milestones, risks, and stakeholder discussions to ensure successful delivery.

You will develop business cases, manage budgets where applicable, and facilitate collaboration across front-office, operations, IT, Risk, and Compliance, demonstrating strong leadership and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven project management experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects across Wealth Management BU with varying size and complexity.
• Align resources, track milestones/risks, and facilitate working groups to drive on-time delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and governance artifacts.
• Communicate status and issues across front-office, middle-office, IT, Risk, Legal, and Compliance.
• Prepare agendas and formal project communications to ensure stakeholder alignment.
