Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture leader to guide modernization across state and local government projects. You will shape target architectures, drive integration strategies and ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions.

You will mentor delivery teams, support capability modeling, and participate in client workshops to drive modernization and secure scalable, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years in consulting or enterprise IT roles.
• Experience delivering technology solutions for state or local government.
• Ability to design system architectures, integration approaches and data flows.
• Familiarity with cloud adoption, legacy refactoring and COTS integration.
• Experience facilitating technical workshops and translating business needs into tech requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior delivery resource for modernization initiatives with architectural oversight.
• Develop target state architectures and lead sessions to validate designs and platform choices.
• Translate business requirements into system-level models including design, data structures, and deployment.
• Partner with delivery leads, analysts, and specialists to ensure architectural integrity from kickoff to implementation.
• Support business capability modeling and process-to-technology mapping for alignment between operations and design.
• Contribute to design/implementation of cloud-native, hybrid, or on-prem platforms with enterprise integrations.
• Lead or participate in architecture reviews, design sessions, and client workshops evaluating legacy environments.
• Advise on performance, scalability, security, and compliance throughout delivery.
