Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Senior Technical Lead / Solution Architect to lead a large-scale platform modernization program for a federal contract. You will translate architectures into actionable guidance, mentor teams, and ensure secure, scalable delivery across multiple vendors and Scrum teams.

You will collaborate with architects on designs, review implementation against standards, and help drive DevSecOps, cloud-native solutions, and API-driven integration across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• TEN (10) years of progressive software engineering/solution implementation experience.
• Experience translating architecture designs into detailed technical direction and implementation plans.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, and large-scale applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to multiple Scrum teams and vendors.
• Translate approved architectures into actionable implementation guidance across workstreams.
• Review designs, code, configurations, and interfaces for architectural compliance.
• Mentor engineers, enforce patterns and development practices, and escalate deviations.
