Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Technical Lead / Solution Architect to guide modernization of a large GrantSolutions platform. You will set target-state architecture, oversee API‑enabled services, and coordinate across vendors and Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will lead architecture reviews, define standards, and translate complex designs into actionable plans for federal stakeholders and product owners in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal/Public Trust.
• 6–8 years in software engineering, solution architecture, or platform modernization.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, API design and cloud-native patterns.
• Proven ability to lead architecture governance and multi‑team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical direction for a large-scale modernization effort.
• Define target-state architecture, integration patterns, and transition plans.
• Coordinate across vendors, Scrum teams, and federal stakeholders.
• Ensure secure, scalable, maintainable, and interoperable platform outcomes.
• Provide hands-on guidance on APIs, data exchange, and DevSecOps practices.
