Job summary

University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking a Senior Assistant Director of Community College Outreach to lead transfer recruitment and academic advising efforts for BHCC and MBCC. The role splits primary office locations between BHCC and MBCC campuses in Boston and reports to MassTransfer leadership.

The position involves coordinating information sessions, developing transfer pathways, advising prospective transfer students on policies, majors, and admissions criteria, and representing UMass

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years in admissions, advising, or related field.
• Ability to travel and work some evenings/weekends during recruitment travel season.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support undergraduate transfer student recruitment, selection, and yield activities for BHCC/MBCC.
• Conduct information sessions and classroom visits to promote transfer to UMass Amherst.
• Develop resources and project plans to support transfer admissions, enrollment management, and university initiatives.
• Coordinate communications and marketing for BHCC/MBCC students with Enrollment Management Communications & Events.
• Track cohorts, generate reports, and analyze transfer outcomes.
