Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years in academic support, coaching, advising, or related student success roles.
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations, including first-generation and community college transfer students.
• Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with computer tools and rapid adoption of new technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, strengths-based academic coaching to transfer students, including learning strategies and goal setting.
• Develop learning plans, monitor progress, and document interactions.
• Design and deliver transfer-focused workshops and academic skills programs.
• Collaborate with campus partners and community colleges to support pre-transfer and post-transfer success.
• Supervise and train peer tutors and peer academic success coaches.
• Track participation, outcomes, and student progress using standard reporting tools.
