Job summary

McDermott Will & Schulte seeks a Legal Practice Specialist to support the Transactions Practice Group. You will provide high-level service, maintain policies knowledge, and protect client confidentiality while partnering with attorneys to deliver top-tier service.

Responsibilities include document preparation, calendar management, and coordinating meetings and travel for assigned attorneys, while ensuring accurate time entry and client billings in accordance with firm guidelines.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of legal experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent legal work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with clients and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner.
• Edit, proofread, and redline documents for accuracy and formatting.
• Manage attorney Outlook email and calendar, deadlines, and reminders.
