Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Transaction Services team within Financial Advisory in Houston. You will provide due diligence and transaction advisory services to clients across private equity, banks, and corporate clients.

The role offers exposure to buy- and sell-side transactions, data gathering, financial analysis, and collaboration with partners to deliver high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred.
• 3+ years of relative experience, ideally in a mid to large size professional services firm.
• 2+ years of transaction services / due diligence experience highly preferred.
• Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and/or an advanced degree are a plus.
• Strong motivation, initiative and flexible attitude; excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present analyses to management and lead initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on matters related to client and engagement management.
• Data gathering, document review and preparation of quality of earnings reports.
• Research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Due diligence for buy side, sell side, and corporate finance transactions.
• Communication with clients to ensure delivery of excellent client service.
• Participate in marketing and recruiting activities of the firm.
