Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager, Training & Development in the Obesity & Related Conditions group to design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning solutions for the commercial organization. You will create onboarding content, launch curricula, field learning programs, and regional workshops to strengthen readiness and execution.

Qualifications

• Doctorate/Master/Bachelor/Associate degree plus years in learning strategy, curriculum development, or related experience in a large-scale organization.
• Experience designing onboarding content, launch readiness, and field learning for commercial teams.
• Ability to translate complex scientific and commercial concepts into engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, launch readiness, field learning, meeting workshops, and ongoing sales capability development.
• Design scalable curricula across disease-state products and learning formats.
• Apply adult-learning principles to create clear, practical learning experiences for diverse audiences.
• Manage cross-functional projects and external vendor relationships from design to implementation.
• Define learning KPIs and report on engagement, certification, proficiency and impact.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen coaching, content accuracy and readiness.
• Travel: 20%.
