Job summary

Kentro is seeking an experienced Senior Training Developer to lead design, development, and full-scale delivery of a comprehensive training program for the VA's enterprise ServiceNow HAM implementation. This role spans instructor-led sessions, short-form videos, interactive simulations, and a centralized knowledge hub to support 150+ sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, IT or related field; 5 years of relevant experience (8 years may substitute).
• Experience designing and delivering training for complex enterprise IT systems or federal tech implementations.
• Ability to develop multi-modal training content including instructor-led materials, videos, job aids, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Prior experience with ServiceNow or similar enterprise software platforms and translating functionality into training curriculum.
• Proven ability to tailor content for diverse audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
• Strong facilitation skills for virtual office hours and working sessions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain role-based training modules for VA user groups.
• Create short-form videos covering HAM workflows and ServiceNow tasks.
• Develop interactive simulations, click-through demos, and scenario-based exercises.
• Update SOPs, Job Aids, and Knowledge Articles per VA governance.
• Build centralized training library and knowledge hub on SharePoint; package content for easy access.
• Develop reports, charts, and diagrams using MS Office and Visio to support HAM training content.
• Plan and facilitate live virtual weekly or biweekly office hours for users.
• Coordinate change management with VA stakeholders and drive adoption across the enterprise.
• Track feedback, attendance, and training effectiveness; iterate content based on data.
