The North Carolina Department of Transportation seeks an Engineer III (S) to coordinate and oversee transportation projects across a fast-growing region. The role covers feasibility, planning, public involvement, design, right of way, environmental coordination, budgeting, letting, administration and inspection.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution with four years of progressively responsible experience.
• Experience reviewing engineered plans for traffic and design compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and oversee all phases of transportation projects from concept to completion.
• Manage projects funded by programs such as HSIP, HILC, Traffic Maintenance, etc.
• Provide engineering and design review for TIPs and TIAs and oversee project delivery and inspection.
