NCDOT is seeking an Engineer III - Traffic Project Manager in New Hanover County, NC. The role oversees transportation projects from concept through completion, coordinating planning, design, environmental work, budgeting, letting, and inspection.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, four years of experience, and potential PE licensure. Strong leadership and cross‑agency collaboration skills are essential to succeed in a fast‑growing region.

Mansioni

• Coordinate all phases of transportation projects from concept to completion.
• Oversee feasibility, planning, design, ROW, environmental coordination, budgeting and letting.
• Provide engineering and design reviews for TIPs and TIAs, ensuring compliance.
• Supervise staff, monitor progress, enforce deadlines, and address performance issues.
• Interact with municipalities, developers, and private firms; respond to inquiries.
