Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Noise Analyst to join our Mid-Atlantic Traffic Noise team, with focus on traffic noise, abatement, and project management for highway projects. The role may be based in any Stantec office across several states, with a hybrid work option and potential for remote work for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate reviews preliminary and final noise analyses, develops DOT-compliant models, and contributes to staff development and client interactions while navigating NEPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, engineering or environmental discipline preferred.
• TNM 2.5 training or certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRoads/Geopak and GIS required.

Responsibilities

• Project management to deliver task orders and support growth of clients.
• Provide technical oversight of noise staff from new hires to seniors.
• Develop DOT compliant noise models using TNM for highway projects.
• Engage with TRB and related organizations to develop staff.
• Attend project meetings and public hearings with clients.
• Apply NEPA requirements and principles in work.
• Provide QA/QC on deliverables.
