Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Noise Analyst to support the Mid-Atlantic Traffic Noise team. The role focuses on traffic noise abatement, modeling, reporting, and project management for highway projects. Location-flexible with hybrid work options and travel as needed.

Ideal candidates will review preliminary and final traffic noise analyses, design feasible abatement, and contribute to DOT guidance and NEPA compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, engineering or environmental discipline preferred.
• TNM 2.5 Training Certificate from a recognized organization.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, Geopak, or GIS.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience with NEPA and noise modeling.

Responsibilities

• Project management to deliver task orders and assist in client growth.
• Provide technical oversight of noise staff across levels.
• Develop DOT-compliant noise models using TNM for highways.
• Engage with TRB and related organizations for staff development.
• Attend project meetings and public hearings with clients.
• QA/QC on deliverables and compliance with 23 CFR 772.
