Job summary

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission seeks an experienced traffic engineering leader to oversee all traffic engineering activities and projects, supervising internal staff and professional consultants, and guiding priorities to improve safety and mobility across the system.

You will develop complex traffic-control plans, analyze crash data, coordinate with PennDOT, FHWA and other agencies, and ensure compliance with regulations while managing budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Need a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania.
• Eight years of traffic engineering experience.
• At least four years in a supervisory capacity over professionals.
