The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer Manager in King of Prussia, PA, to lead complex traffic operations and long-term planning for PennDOT. You will oversee major programs including work zones, traffic systems, and roadway safety, guiding district initiatives and critical infrastructure improvements.

The role requires five years of professional civil engineering experience with two years directing others, a Pennsylvania PE license, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional civil engineering experience including two years of directing the work of civil engineers.
• Valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Direct district programs for work zones, traffic control, signage, pavement markings, and incident management.
• Guide planning, design, installation, and operation of advanced traffic management and communication systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple contracts for ITS maintenance, staffing, integration, and operational support.
• Develop long term goals, policies, procedures, and work standards to support district business needs.
• Allocate staff, funding, and technology to ensure programs meet performance expectations.
• Work with local partners, agencies, and task forces to support regional transportation goals.
