Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering with licensure and five years of engineering experience, one year as a Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Equivalent education/experience total nine years may substitute for required education and experience.
• Must be certified by the NMBLPEPS as a Licensed Professional Engineer in good standing within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering staff and support NMDOT regions and districts in construction plan development.
• Create and revise standard drawings and specifications.
• Perform traffic analysis and review traffic analyses.
