WSP Albuquerque Transportation is seeking an Experienced Professional, Civil Engineer to contribute to roadway and pedestrian design projects in New Mexico. The successful candidate will apply Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and OpenRoads in a dynamic team, while supporting project management and business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• 3–5 years of post-education engineering experience.
• Experience with road/bridge/traffic design and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform design tasks for roadways, intersections, pedestrian facilities, and traffic improvements.
• Prepare plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Assist with analyses to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Attend client meetings and assist in presentation preparations.
• Assist in project management, including budgets, scheduling and coordination.
• Collaborate with staff engineers and guide entry-level engineers.
• Support business development initiatives.
• Incorporate modeling techniques and design standards for safe, future-ready transportation design.
