Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and permitting.
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and OpenRoads.
• Ability to coordinate with agency regulations and requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform design tasks for roadways, intersections, pedestrian facilities, and traffic improvements.
• Prepare plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Assist with analyses to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Attend client meetings and assist in presenting to clients and the public.
• Assist in project management activities, including budgets and scheduling.
• Collaborate with staff engineers and guide entry-level engineers.
• Support business development initiatives.
• Incorporate modeling concepts and design standards for safe, future-ready transportation systems.
• Prepare data visuals and accurate drawings for presentations and analyses.
• Maintain quality control and reporting standards.
