Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead traffic and engineering projects across transportation, energy, and government sectors. The role can be on-site or hybrid at offices in OH, IN, KY, or WV, with opportunities to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has experience with state agencies, and can oversee engineers, monitor budgets, and act as client representative while driving design-build

Qualifications

• PE Registration is required with ability to attain PE in additional states.
• Oversight of engineers in plan development and financial monitoring.
• B.S./M.S. in Engineering required; PE preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees engineering teams across projects and ensures plan development.
• Manages financials and serves as client representative.
• Leads projects with complex features and integrates risk analysis.
• Develops design alternatives considering constraints and permitting.
