Job summary

McClure is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead transportation projects and mentor junior staff. The candidate will guide design deliverables, oversee QA/QC, and ensure high-quality outcomes. You will coordinate with project managers and clients, and represent McClure in technical discussions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in traffic engineering, an active PE license, and PTOE certification is a plus. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• PTOE certification is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, client interaction, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead team on transportation projects including design leadership, QA/QC, and schedule management.
• Mentor and develop junior team members while coordinating with Project Managers.
• Engage with clients, present technical information, and manage project milestones and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and ensure compliance with industry standards.
