Job summary

STV Incorporated in Columbia or North Charleston, SC seeks a Senior Traffic Engineer/Project Manager to lead traffic engineering projects, coordinate with other groups, and support projects across NC/SC and beyond. Minimum 11 years in traffic engineering; PE license in SC; experience with DOTs, local governments, and the private sector.

Responsibilities include leading design and studies: signal design, ITS, timing analyses, illumination, ADA, signing, pavement markings; develop PS&E; prepare

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in traffic engineering and related field.
• Experience leading traffic studies, signal timing analyses, and capacity/safety analyses.
• Registration as a South Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and lead technical services on traffic engineering and ITS projects across multiple states.
• Develop PS&E documents and coordinate with state/local agencies and DOTs.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure QA/QC across final products.
