HDR is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join the South Carolina Area Transportation Business Group in Charleston. You will lead engineers and EITs, perform traffic analyses, and support signal timing projects while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires 10+ years in ITS/traffic engineering, a PE license, and strong communication skills. Preferred Master's in Civil Engineering and licensure such as PTOE or RSP. Local candidates are preferred.

Qualificações

• Minimum 10 years' ITS and traffic engineering experience for urban/rural highways and interchanges.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the respondent licensing board.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to present to teams and clients.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of engineers and EITs to deliver traffic-related projects and reports.
• Perform operational traffic analysis using modeling tools and analyze various roadway segments.
• Contribute to traffic signal design, timing projects, and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical support.
