Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Midwest transportation planning and engineering team in a full-time capacity. You will lead traffic design projects for state and local agencies, conduct safety evaluations, and analyze multimodal facilities, including design-build opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in traffic engineering with PE licensure in MO/KS/NE or the ability to obtain within six months, and knowledge of

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering; MS preferred but not required.
Licensed PE in MO/KS/NE or ability to obtain within six months.
10+ years in traffic engineering and design.
Proficient with Synchro, VISSIM, GIS; CAD tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage traffic design and traffic operation projects.
Provide design oversight for lighting, signing, pavement markings, signals, and ITS systems.
Develop technical traffic analyses for highways, streets, and multimodal facilities.
Oversee MOT and sequencing plans during construction.
Mentor junior staff and lead project teams.
Assist in developing proposals and client relationships.
