Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer for our Midwest transportation planning and engineering team in Springfield, MO. The role involves leading traffic design, safety evaluations, and multimodal facility analysis across state and local agency clients.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in traffic engineering, PE licensure, and proficiency with Synchro, VISSIM, GIS, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; master's preferred.
• PE license in Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska or ability to obtain within six months.
• PTOE or Road Safety Professional (RSP) Levels 1 or 2 preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead traffic design and traffic operation projects with design oversight.
• Provide safety evaluations including RSAs and traffic safety analyses.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and QA/QC for transportation projects.
• Assist in proposals, marketing, and client relationship building.
• Mentor junior staff and foster collaborative team environment.
