Job summary

Sei Labs is seeking an Operations Lead to own the daily operating engine of our FCM, ensuring accurate processing of trades, margin calls, and cash movements from day one. You will define procedures, build the operating model, and scale the team as volumes grow.

You will partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance and Engineering, owning frontline operations, controls, and resilience in a remote-first environment, with a focus on regulatory credibility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of futures/clearing operations experience.
• End-to-end trade flow experience: execution, clearing, settlement and reporting.
• Deep experience with position management and margin.
• Working knowledge of customer funds segregation, daily segregation computations and books and records.
• Data fluency (SQL or advanced Excel) and ability to partner with engineers on automation.

Responsibilities

• Trade lifecycle and clearing: own end-to-end trade flow, capture, booking, clearing interfaces, and daily files.
• Reconciliations and exceptions: run daily trade, position, margin, fee and cash reconciliations.
• Margin and positions: run margin processing, margin calls and settlement; coordinate liquidations.
• Treasury and customer funds: manage deposits/withdrawals across fiat and stablecoins, bank moves and approvals.
• Account lifecycle and customer ops: handoff from KYC/AML to account opening; maintenance and tax workflows.
• Vendors and resilience: manage relationships with clearing houses, banks, custodians, funding rails; run SLAs and BCP/DR.
• Controls and governance: write procedures, maker-checker controls, risk indicators, and reporting.
• Regulatory credibility: explain operating model to regulators during registration and exams.
