Job summary

Sei Labs is seeking an Operations Lead to own the daily operating engine of our futures clearing function. You will ensure every trade, margin, cash movement and customer account is processed accurately, on time, and under documented controls, serving as the first-line owner of trade lifecycle and back-office operations.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Finance and Engineering to build the operating model, write procedures, and scale the team as volume grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in futures/clearing operations.
• Hands-on experience with execution, clearing, settlement, and reporting.
• Deep knowledge of position management and margin.
• Familiarity with FCM obligations including customer funds segregation.
• Clean regulatory record with no NFA/FINRA issues.
• Strong process design and controls skills; write playbooks.
• Data fluency and ability to partner with engineers on automation.
• Autonomy in a fast-paced 0-to-1 environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trade flow, clearing interfaces, and daily statements.
• Run daily reconciliations for trades, positions, margin, cash.
• Manage margin processing, calls, settlement; coordinate liquidations.
• Oversee treasury flows across fiat and stablecoin rails; reconciled data.
• Handle account lifecycle: KYC/AML to opening and maintenance.
• Manage vendor relationships; SLAs, incident management, DR.
• Write procedures and controls; align with Compliance, Risk, Finance, Eng.
• Explain operating model to regulators during registration and exams.
