Job summary

FTI Consulting, Inc. is seeking experienced trade compliance professionals in Washington, DC. The role focuses on independently managing project tasks including customs compliance, tariff classification, valuation, duty mitigation, FTZs and Buy America/Buy American regulations.

Senior Consultants will lead client project execution, analyses, and communications, with opportunities to contribute to program development and knowledge sharing. Travel to clients and offices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of trade compliance experience.
• Travel to clients and FTI offices as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; visa sponsorship not provided.
• Licensing/certifications (Licensed Customs Broker or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of client project components and detailed compliance analyses.
• Support investigations, audit responses, and regulatory inquiries under guidance.
• Prepare client reports, presentations, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in developing compliance programs and training materials.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff.
