Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking experienced trade compliance professionals to manage multiple client engagements and lead teams delivering global trade compliance solutions. Directors oversee investigations and design compliance programs, interacting directly with clients on complex issues such as customs and Buy America requirements.

You’ll mentor staff, support business development, and stay current on U.S. and international trade regulations while growing with a global team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive import trade compliance and international trade experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage concurrent client projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality
• Lead domestic and international trade compliance investigations and audits
• Develop and enhance client compliance programs and controls
• Mentor and supervise engagement staff, fostering professional growth
• Support business development through proposal writing and client relationship building
• Stay current on evolving U.S. and global trade regulations and policies
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and thought leadership content
