Job summary

FTI Consulting in the United States seeks an experienced trade compliance professional to manage multiple client engagements and lead teams delivering global trade compliance solutions.

Directors oversee investigations, design compliance programs, lead audits, and interact with clients on complex issues including customs, tariff strategies, FTZs and Buy America sourcing.

This role also supports business development and thought leadership initiatives, with travel requirements up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, Finance, International Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive import trade compliance and international trade experience.
• Strong leadership, project management, and client communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, FTZs, and sourcing requirements (e.g., Buy America).
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
