Job summary

Purple Line Transit Operators LLC is seeking a Lead Traction Electrification System (TES) Inspector to oversee inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of the TES including overhead catenary systems, substations, and related infrastructure. You will lead TES Inspectors, coordinate outages, and ensure safety and reliability in a fast-paced transit environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of apprenticeship or technical training in electrical systems or closely related field.
• Minimum five years' experience maintaining traction electrification systems or high-voltage electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead TES Inspectors and coordinate inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Assign priorities, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance to ensure safe, compliant work.
• Perform inspections and maintenance on overhead catenary systems and related equipment.
• Oversee substations, switchgear, transformers, and protective relays.
• Respond to outages and emergencies to restore traction power.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and CMMS documentation.
