Job summary

TYLin is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in traction power and transportation electrical systems to support planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.

You will lead technical teams, coordinate with multi-disciplinary disciplines, and ensure compliance with industry standards while delivering high-quality, constructible designs for complex transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain reciprocity.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical design for transportation or large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience with traction power, substations, utility coordination, and electrification infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of transportation electrical systems across multi-market infrastructure projects.
• Develop technical specifications, calculations, reports, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, roadway, rail, and utility disciplines; interface with utilities and agencies.
• Support construction through RFIs, submittal reviews, and field inspections; oversee QA/QC.
