Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking aSenior Member of Technical Staff in Modeling & Simulation and Signal & Image Process Engineering to lead modeling studies and drive tracking performance improvements. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams and serve as a technical lead and customer liaison for key programs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in STEM, 4+ years of leadership in modeling tasks, and expertise in tracking algorithms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience leading technical teams and coordinating modeling tasks.
• Knowledge of tracking algorithms and tracking performance assessment.
• Willingness to travel and occasional off-hours work to support customer needs.
• Requires TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead modeling and analysis studies for complex system‑of‑systems architectures with emphasis on tracking performance.
• Serve as technical lead and primary customer liaison for projects and establish technical direction.
• Drive continuous improvement of modeling, simulation, and analysis capabilities.
• Provide hands‑on guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Develop and execute training programs to build organizational capability.
• Design and implement tracking algorithms and multi‑sensor data fusion methods.
