Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to perform modeling and analysis of MW/MT/MD sensors, develop radar and lidar tracking algorithms, and support system-of-systems assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of applicable educational or professional experience with space systems or algorithms.
• Experience programming in MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python or FORTRAN.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform modeling and analysis of MW/MT/MD sensors and systems and their broader system-of-systems architectures.
• Conduct modeling, simulation and analysis using in-house, custom and government tools.
• Analyze performance of sensors such as EO, radar, and RF concepts, architectures and algorithms.
• Develop and implement radar, lidar, and related tracking algorithms; enhance modeling tools.
• Develop computer tools and simulations to support analyses and system engineering trades.
