Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a Member of Technical Staff to perform modeling, analysis and architecture support for radar, EO/IR sensors and space surveillance systems.

You will develop algorithms, run simulations, and contribute to system-of-systems studies using MATLAB, C, C++, Java or Python, with a focus on space domain awareness and security requirements. A Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 1 year of space systems or algorithm experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python or FORTRAN.

Responsibilities

• Perform modeling and analysis of MW/MT sensors and system architectures.
• Conduct analyses using modeling, simulation and analysis tools.
• Analyze EO/radar sensor concepts and architectures.
• Develop radar, lidar or related tracking algorithms and improve tools.
• Create computer tools and simulations to support interdisciplinary teams.
