Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff / Engineering Specialist in the Tracking Architecture Performance Department (TAPD) to lead modeling, simulation, and analysis for multi‑domain sensor architectures. This role emphasizes tracking performance optimization across space, air, maritime and ground domains.

You will serve as a technical lead, mentor staff, and work with management and customers to shape project direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience leading technical teams and coordinating complex modeling tasks.
• Knowledge of tracking algorithms, multi-target tracking, and tracking performance assessment.
• Must be able to travel occasionally and support customer needs; active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead modeling and analysis studies for complex system‑of‑systems architectures with emphasis on tracking performance optimization.
• Evaluate multi‑domain architectures and diverse sensor systems (radar, EO/IR, Lidar).
• Analyze tracking scenarios across space, air, maritime, and ground domains for performance trade‑offs.
• Provide hands‑on guidance and mentorship to team members; drive continuous improvement across the organization.
