Job summary

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Special Track Inspector to perform technical inspections of special track work and related components for MTA/NYCT projects, ensuring conformance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

You will verify dimensions and clearances, inspect nuts, bolts, and track fasteners, review inspection documentation, identify nonconforming materials, and prepare detailed reports to support material acceptance decisions.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of AWS and ASNT inspection techniques.
• Experience with track components and metallurgy.

Responsibilities

• Inspect special track work manufactured to Authority drawings and specifications.
• Verify dimensions, clearances and quality requirements.
• Review inspection documentation and reports.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials.
• Prepare inspection reports to support material acceptance decisions.
